Executive Director
As Executive Director, Betty leads with grace, experience, and an unshakable belief in the power of care. A retired Senior Midwife and lifelong advocate for child welfare, Betty's leadership is fueled by her professional journey—where she witnessed firsthand the challenges vulnerable children face. Her mission is clear: to ensure that every child is seen, valued, and given a chance to thrive.

Eddy Luguda
Founder & Vision Bearer
Eddy Luguda is the passionate founder of Hearts of Hope Uganda, inspired by childhood experiences in Sironko. His vision is rooted in ensuring that no child is forgotten. Through resilience and compassion, he leads the organization in restoring dignity and opportunity to the underserved—one child, one family at a time. His dream is a Uganda where every child can live, learn, and dream.

Diana Kiisa
Liaison Officer
Diana Kiisa serves as the vital link between Hearts of Hope and its stakeholders. With a strong background in social work and diplomacy, she fosters partnerships that bring transformative opportunities to vulnerable children. Diana envisions a future where strategic networks empower the forgotten and believes every child should access the world beyond their circumstances.

Samson Wagabyalire
Education, Health & Welfare Officer
Samson Wagabyalire champions holistic child development at Hearts of Hope. From school enrollment to health access and nutrition, he coordinates programs that nurture both body and mind. With a heart for service and a strong foundation in public health, Samson envisions a future where every child thrives in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.

Florence Galenda
Finance Administrator
Florence Galenda ensures that every resource at Hearts of Hope Uganda is well managed and mission-aligned. Her financial oversight and dedication to transparency build trust among donors and partners. Florence believes that sustainable change begins with accountable stewardship and is proud to support the organization's mission through fiscal integrity.

Wilson Maberi
Programs Director
As Programs Director, Wilson Maberi crafts and guides impactful, child-centered interventions. A seasoned strategist and advocate, he ensures every initiative at Hearts of Hope is rooted in community needs and long-term vision. Wilson is driven by a mission to build structured, scalable programs that uplift vulnerable children across Uganda into thriving futures.

Hellen Namerya
Social Worker
Hellen Namerya is a devoted social worker with Hearts of Hope, working directly with children, families, and communities. Through home visits, monitoring, and advocacy, she safeguards child rights and well-being. Hellen's passion lies in creating safe, loving environments where children can heal, grow, and smile again—restoring hope where it's been lost.

Rachael Nambuba
Secretary
As Secretary, Rachael Nambuba keeps Hearts of Hope running smoothly. With sharp organizational skills and a dependable spirit, she oversees communication, records, and administrative functions. Rachael finds purpose in supporting the mission behind the scenes—ensuring the daily operations align seamlessly with the organization's greater goal of transforming children's lives.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Loyce Nakonge leads data-driven impact tracking at Hearts of Hope Uganda. Her expertise ensures that every program is not just implemented, but evaluated for real, measurable change. Loyce is passionate about using evidence to guide decisions, continuously improve services, and bring every child one step closer to a life of opportunity.
